I love how I can return an outfit that didn’t fit just right, or a pack of batteries when I accidentally bought the wrong size. Even though there have been times I lost a receipt and couldn’t return something for the price I payed, I figure it never hurts to at least try.

I’ve had a bag of cat food sitting in our shed for months, but we don’t have our cat anymore. The bag was unopened, but I didn’t have the receipt anymore. I called HEB where I got it from, and asked if I could still return it. They said to come by and see. Sure enough, they just needed to see my ID and they gave me a $6.79 HEB gift card! Which I of course forgot to use that day…but I’ll use it next time! :)

  1. I like that the worst that can happen is they say no.

  2. I have a t-shirt I need to return to the dollar store. I do have my receipt though. Instead of getting money back I need to pick up a few things which will cost a little more than the shirt.

  3. You are reminding me that I have some things that I need to return…or at least try!

I made $68 today selling some old school uniforms! It feels good to get rid of things and save money!

  4. I hope the cat food didn’t go back on the shelf!
