One of our classes here is a marriage one and it got me thinking about free ways I can show my husband I care.
- Laugh at his jokes…even the lame ones.
- Make him one of his favorite meals or snacks.
- Get all dolled up for him.
- Do one of his favorite activities with him (for us this could be going on a run or hike together).
- Write him a note and leave it somewhere, like as a bookmark in something he’s currently reading.
- Do one of those things he’s talked about you doing or learning to do, but haven’t done yet (for us this could be me improving my sewing, so I can sew up holes in his clothes better).
- Thank him for a specific thing he’s done recently that helped you a lot.
- Don’t complain about him to other people, but instead make a point of saying positive things about him.
- Pray for him.
- Do one of the chores that he usually takes care of (for us this could be packing up the laptop for class in the mornings).
- Keep the house tidy.
- Listen to him when he talks.…even if it’s about something you think is boring like a science fiction book or how to overhaul an engine.
- When he gets homeĀ (or when he wakes up in the morning) greet him with a smile and kiss.…not an eye roll and complaint about your child’s bad behavior that day.

Have you found the site http://www.timewarpwife.com yet? I found it last week while doing research for my honoring your husband group at church.
Wonderful post. Things we all need to remember. Have a happy day!
