Gracia had a blast with her paper dolls!

Want a free way to entertain your kids? Grab an old magazine and cut out any pictures that would make good paper dolls. While I usually hate magazines that are full of ads, I found that most of the things I found to cut out were actually in the ads, like an ad for a Dora movie and an ad for Disney Princesses.  You can also cut out other things like food…you know…in case the paper dolls get hungry.

If you wanted to make them sturdier you could always glue them to card stock, cardboard or popsicle sticks.

Don’t have any old magazines lying around? Just ask around and maybe check your library for old issues they don’t want anymore.

All of these came from just 1 magazine!

  1. What a great idea. We used to have paper dolls when younger, can’t wait to try this out when I find a few magazines to cut up.

    • I loved paper dolls as a girl! I remember making some with one of my friends. We’d just draw people and cut them out.

  2. Love this idea! There is always a magazine floating around here. I like to let the last princess cut letters and pictures out of them for our letter of the week curriculum.
