I am thankful that I was born in a country where I have freedom of religion, I have freedom to raise my daughter as I wish, I have freedom to move wherever I please and the freedom to vote. But that freedom seems so small compared to the freedom I have in Christ. In Christ I have the freedom to talk to God whenever and wherever, no matter what any government may ever say. I have the freedom to serve a loving and just God. I have the freedom to stop worrying and trust God. I have more freedom than I can even comprehend! It’s a true freedom, that no person or government can ever take away!

On this day, lets not only be grateful for the outward freedoms our country allows us to have, but also for the inward freedom from Christ!
