Several months ago we bought Gracia some Dora the Explorer sneakers (she’s a big fan!). The shoes came in this really cute box, all pink and purple with a picture of Dora, and I just couldn’t part with it. I kept thinking, “Surely their is something I can do with this.” And finally I came up with a use for it! I made it into a craft box for Gracia. I keep her crayons, paint, stickers, pipe cleaners and glue stick in it. And since it’s already so cute on the outside I didn’t even have to decorate it! It’s a perfect craft storage box!

And if I ever decide not to use it for crafts, I could use it for putting a present in. I could leave it unwrapped if it’s a gift for a little girl. Or I could wrap the lid and bottom of the box separately and  tie with a ribbon. I’d be able  to reuse the wrapped box many times for gifts, since the wrapping paper wouldn’t need to be torn off, saving me a little money and time in not having to wrap it again!
